Everything felt so exhilarating, and I loved it. By the time we got back to the cabin, it was cold and dark. Ace had given me a head start and, although I felt his presence behind me, I wasn’t too embarrassed about shifting back into my human form. If anything, Ace and Seff would get a good eye of my butt and back. The shift was painless and quick, and I slipped on the robe and slippers effortlessly before I hurried inside. The fire was low, but the warmth was still better than outside. Seff was right behind me, and I turned to smile up at him.
“That was incredible,” I exclaimed, and he nodded as he pulled me into his arms. I gazed up at him, my mind was still trying to accept the fact that this wasn’t a dream.
