"My my, the designs are really exquisite" the woman sitting opposite to me said to the girl sitting 2 seats away from her.
I hate this. It's only been an hour and I really hate this. Last time I didn’t have to socialize much since both Andrew and I were the main characters of the ball. But this time it was different.
Today the ball was held as an inauguration and a congratulation to a well known aristocrat's son. This resulted in me being forced to sit with a bunch of sissy girls who wanted nothing more than to prove they are more powerful both financially and educationally.
For the past hour, I have been sitting here hearing each woman boast about one thing or another.
