Ronan can see all the questions and protests of Kei in his eyes but it was done. He already passed his resignation letter to the president of the hospital and he was granted to leave. All that is left to do now is get all of his things in his office and go through the farewell party that then nurses insisted upon.
Of course, it was a shock mostly for everyone who has been working with him all these years but like what the president has told him a while ago, he didn’t need to explain his reasons. He doesn’t really have a deep reason to tell anyone if ever.
He sighs but then smiles. “Let’s talk over coffee, if you have time now.”
“Well damn right I have time!”
That made him laugh. He will miss having Kei as the badass doctor by his side.
