I was in the clinic taking care of some patients’ files when someone knocked on the door. I could already smell that it was Ashley and she had our sweet little boy in her arms. She was a very kind omega who was in charge of taking care of the Alpha’s pup. We both were doing all we could to protect the pup, to keep him away from the Alpha and his rage as much as we could.
“Come in, Ashley,” I told her and so she did. Standing up, I went to welcome them. They normally came here once a month, even if the pup wasn’t sick. I asked Ashley to come often, I had to check on him, on them, and make sure they were fine. Ashley was always taking risks to keep him protected and away from the Beta, and his father’s fury.
