I felt intimidated

Alaya's POV***

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Where are my keys, If I don't find them I'm gonna be late. "DAD HAVE U SEEN MY KEYS!? I screamed. "YES HONEY THEYRE DOWN HERE ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER!". I rushed downstairs and grabbed my keys and hugged my dad as he wished me good luck.

*Arriving at Lorenzo Industries*

I hopped our of my car and ran into the building,It was full of people and I had spotted the reception so I carelessly run over not thinking of my surroundings, and before I know it I smash into something sturdy and feel a hot liquid burn my skin through my silky black dress.

The presence of the person I had bumped into was intimidating. I felt intimidated. I had froze, I didn't dare to look up until I felt a warm breath on my neck and a low husky voice whispering into my ear.

"You should really watch where you're going gorgeous, you never know who you might bump into" I felt him smirk against my ear and I tried to muster up a sorry but nothing came out, I'm not the type to get nervous, but somehow I was and I still didn't have the courage to look up so I let out a small sigh and swiftly yet quickly made my way away from the man I had just humiliated myself in front of and headed to the reception.

Standing behind the sophisticated marble desk was a gorgeous blonde woman, she looked like she was in her 20's, definitely older than me, that was for sure. I explained my situation to her and she told me to take a seat and wait.

A few moments later a tall bulky man with jet black hair and captivating green eyes came over and guided me up to the boss's office for my interview where I sat in the posh leather chair and he had told me to wait because the boss wouldn't be long.

After around a minute of waiting I heard a door behind me open and close softly, I was nervous and I started to fiddle around with my fingers while a stunning man with luscious brown locks and blue piercing eyes sat in front of me, he was also built really well, while I sat gawking he finally spoke, "Look who it is" he said with a mischievous tone and a smirk.

I panicked, that voice.. I bumped into, the boss. I bumped into Kai fucking Lorenzo. "I- I'm so s-sorry I didn't mean to.. it wasn't my I-intention I was just trying to- get here on time, I thought I- id be late so I rushed, oh god I'm s-so sorry.." I said, stumbling over my words and my cheeks flushed with a rosy colour.

"Its fine Miss Diaz, just watch where ur going next time babe" he said with a grin, next time? what'd he mean next time. "Anyway, lets get this done and over with shall we?" he said effortlessly. Dickhead.

After I had finishing answering his questions and filling out his form I stood up to go leave but he grabbed my wrist.

"You've got such a pretty face Ayala, it'd be great to see more of you" he smiled and he sounded like he meant it and for some obscure reason I said back "I have a feeling you'll be seeing a lot more of me from now on Mr Lorenzo" I grinned and bit my lip then walked out and headed back to my car.

Why did I just do that, what was I thinking and what did he mean it'd be great to see more of me, does this mean he's considering hiring me, or has he already made up his mind. I guess all there is left to do now. Is wait.
