As we sit down to eat dinner, I look across the table at Christian.
"Thank you"
I say with the utmost sincerity. I know I asked way too much of him, yet he still helped. I feel like he has done a lot more for me than I have ever done for him. I truly don't even know why he is so good to me. Christian casually looks up from his meal and smiles at me.
"Alexis we are friends you don't need to thank me"
"But I think I do, I have asked way too much of you, as per usual, why do you follow me on these ridiculous adventures?"
"Because my life seemed to lack excitement and adventure before you came barreling into it"
"Barreling in?"
"Well I definitely can't say strolling in, because with you, nothing is as simple as that"
