I get ready for the day and look at my phone. There is a message from Christian.
Breakfast?
Yep
Pick you up in 3 mins
Three minutes? Is he standing outside my house? I rush to finish getting ready and walk straight down the stairs. I ignore dad and Jasmine and walk straight out to meet Christian. We walk to the cafe together. We sit down.
"Alexis?"
He sounds nervous. I put down the menu and look at him giving him my undivided attention.
"Yes Christian?"
"Would you like to come see my pack one day?"
"Isn't it weird to bring an outsider into your pack?"
"Well you’re not really an outsider, you’re my friend"
"Is it safe?"
"Of course it is safe, I will be with you every second, do you really think I would put you in danger"
"I guess not"
