I look at Alexis her movements with the chain are slightly clumsy. I am assuming she hasn't had much experience in this field but me on the other hand. I have had lots. Even from an early age I have been trained in all sorts of combat. Being an Alpha it is half for self protection before we get our wolf and half for just pure strength as we may have to take over from our fathers at any time even at a really young age.
Even with my decreased strength it is still easy to wield the chain. It is a little bit annoying as one of my hands is useless and the other one has the chain attached but it is reasonably easy to adapt to these things. With the lack of strength I am actually happy to have a weapon because otherwise I might actually be a liability to Alexis instead of a team
