The Alphas Choice

Chapter 4

*Lucas POV*

She pretty much runs out of class. I wonder if she can feel the sparks between us. It feels amazing. I look down and see her bag. In her rush she left it, I smile. Perfect. I find her so quickly. In the crowded hallway she is the beautiful shining beacon. Her back in to me. I walk up behind her and put an arm around her waist I takes my lips to her ear. I hear her breath hitch and her heart beat rise as I exhale slowly on her ear.

"You forgot your bag"

I hold it up in front of her. She gets herself out of my grip and grabs the bag.

"Ahh yeah thanks"

I like that I get to her.

"I am just going to ummm……"

"Lunch?"

She slumps her head in defeat, I can hear her heartbeat gong a million miles an hour,  can see a blush slowly grow on her face, her mouth can deny me all it wants but her body tells no lie.

"Yeah"

"Well, I will walk you there"

"No I am fine"

"We are going to the same place"

"So?"

I smile, she has recovered sassiness is back, like she was never embarrassed in the first place. I like it better when she is up against me, physically and verbally.

"Well you can either walk beside me"

"No"

"Or in front of me where I can check out that perfect figure of yours and fine ass"

She glares at me, if looks could kill, I would be dead 20 times over, no one has ever looked at me like that before, I must be sick in the head, because for some reason  like it.

"No"

"Or you walk behind me and just try and take yours eyes off me either way we are going to arrive in the same place."

Her eyes narrow at me.

"You think your pretty special don't you? Can't take me eyes off you? Puhlease"

She turns around and storms off. Well I guess it is option 2 then. I walk behind her. She really does have a beautiful body. I can't wait to make her sweat under me. Bend her naked body over so I can look at that tattoo again run my hands over it while she screams my name. I am so lost in thought that I lose track of her. I walk to Kira and the others.

"Where is Alexis?"

Kira comes at back me.

"What did you even say to her, she is sitting over there alone again"

"I didn't say anything"

"Seriously Lucas just leave her alone, find another conquest, I like her, I want to be friends with her"

I look over at her. Headphones in hugging her knee and gently humming along to her music. Munching away on a muesli bar.  If only I could leave her alone.

I follow her to the gym again after school. I like to watch her fight. She is so damn fine. They get to the end of training.

"So I will see you tomorrow?"

"Umm no I just have two free training sessions, I will just train myself"

'Luc…..'

'Yes I heard Sebastian, train her but come up with the way it doesn't sound too creepy'

He rolls his eyes in my direction. Alexis in already out of the ring.

"Well let's just say if I am free, I will train you, if I am busy I won't"

"Really?"

"Of course, there is not every day I get a woman come in here trying to beat me up"

'You are going into creepy zone'

He shoots me a glare.

"I just mean that I think one day you may be actually able to land a hit with my help"

She turns to him and he laughs, her face softens and she laughs.

Great why can't I say something smooth like that to her. Make her laugh like that for me, she leaves. Sebastian walks over and sits next to me.

"So what is with this girl?"

I look at him. I have known him all my life. He is 6 years older and like my brother he has always looked after me and trained me.

"Not a word to anyone?"

He looks deeply offended by this.

"Since when am I a gossiper?"

"That girl, she is my mate, your future luna if she accepts me"

He starts laughing at me. He laughs hard, folding himself in half holding his stomach,  just look at him with a darkening expression.

"Ohh Lucas you have your work cut out for you"

He slaps me on the back as he walks off laughing. Yeah tell me about it. She will accept me with a claw hammer to my temple.

'Sebastian get back here, we still have some sparring to do.'

He looks back at me and hangs his head. He is probably sore still from yesterday. I smile widely and he is going to pay for laughing at me.

*Alexis POV*

I run home from the gym. Sebastian was so nice for offering to train me and I will be so happy if I can ever manage to land a hit on him. He is so quick.

"Mum"

I open the door. Nothing. I walk inside. She still isn't home yet my stomach grumbles I look in the fridge and let out a sigh. Bacon and eggs and cheese and that is it. Cupboard some odds and ends and some.

Yes pasta.

Carbonara it is then.

I start cooking.

Mum walks in the door.

"Hi Alexis, how was your day?"

"It was good mum, but we desperately need some food"

"I don't get paid till Friday Ali, I am sorry the move completely tapped us out"

I turn to her and see tears start to form in the corner of her eyes.

"It's okay mum I got a job and my first shift is on Friday so I can help out"

"No need I we will get fine after Friday, things are going to look up for us now"

"I know mum………"

I give a sly smile and continue. I pat my stomach.

"I could really stand to use a few kilograms anyway."

She looks at me and I burst out laughing and she joins in. I serve up our dinner.

That's okay one day without any food and a small dinner tonight. That's fine. I am really wishing I hadn't of worked out now.
