Finn’s POV
For years, I’ve searched for her. It’s been five years of fruitless effort.
“I don’t think we’re going to find her, Your Majesty,” Daniel said. “We’ve looked everywhere in the werewolf clan, but she’s nowhere to be found.” He was right. We had been searching for her, and I didn’t even bother to take good care of myself.
“Don’t say that, Daniel. We can still find her,” I replied, clinging to hope. I knew he must be tired of roaming about with me. “I still have some hope left in me.”
“Your Majesty, it’s been five years,” he yelled, clearly frustrated. “Five years without success!”
“I’m sorry. I know we will find her soon. Trust me, Daniel,” I pleaded. “Please.” I could only beg him.
