I was in the room, ready to claim my mate, when someone knocked on the door. I hesitated and let out a howl, a warning to whoever was knocking, but the person kept knocking until she had to tell me to go check who was there.
"Why are you here?" I asked. It was Daniel. If I had known he would disturb me, I would have let him follow Scott to the office.
