"Do I hear you clearly, Ace? You're in love with me?"
"Yes, I love you," he said. "I know my behavior towards you is horrible, but I can't control myself." I could feel he was sincere, my heart racing faster as if it wanted to jump out of my body.
Do I love him as well? I would be betraying Dave, but the mate bond wasn't something I could resist either. Hearing Ace's confession made me want to run into his embrace.
