Eric was in the gym owned by Liev’s organization punching the hell out of a bag when he felt the presence of others in the space. He’d gotten here early. It was barely seven in the morning, and he’d been at it for an hour and this gym was a thirty-minute ride from his condo. Wherever Hadlee was, she was on the same time zone as he was and it irked, he knew she’d been sleeping when he couldn’t.
