Hadlee woke in the early morning hours to the sound of low singing. Eric made love to her for hours, some of it frantic and wild and some of it gentle and tender. All of it though felt like they were connecting in a way they were meant to connect. For the last seven days, the two of them were alone at the villa. She knew her friends were desperate to see her, but she wasn’t ready, and Eric made it clear to all of them, only when she was ready would she let them in.
