The entire family was there to see peter open his eyes for the first time in over a month. They were waiting by his bedside in silence as Anita requested. His breathing was steady, he had all signs of life and the moment they were waiting or came when he moved his hand.
"He moved!" Anita said happily.
"I saw it too" concurred Cole.
"Let me fetch the doctor" Kristen said walking away happily.
Gabriella leaned over peter. She couldn't control her tears. When he opened his eyes the first set of eyes he saw were his mother's. And he recognized them.
"Mum" he mumbled.
"Am here son, we are all her your dad, Kristen, even Anita is here" she said dragging all of them closer.
"Why are you crying?"
"You've been in a comma for more than a month peter" Anita said.
