The saga at the sisters of Mary hospital was still haunting the man of God. He could not wrap his head around the fact that Anita was to be married to that family one time in her lifetime. It made him rethink his claim about the two being made for each other. The way Gabriella handled them was a clear indication of a not so good relationship between Anita and her mother in-law. Kristen was trying to be nice but the damage was done. She was just a branch that was to leave the nest, Gabriella was the pillar of that house that everyone who needed to survive in it had to be in good books with her.
“Thank you for dropping us off pastor” Mr. Brown said bowing in respect.
“Welcome, Anita!” he called.
