Khalie's body weakened due to improper nourishment, stress, and lack of sleep. Her first and second trimester of pregnancy had been difficult for Khalie. She became frail, and she threw up everything she eats. However, before the end of her 4th month, she passed out from severe weakness.
Daniel sent an Obstetrician who was his cousin, to the island using his private chopper to looked into Khalie's health condition.
Khalie was given an IV drip to sustain her body of the nourishment it needed. The OB stayed with her for three days to monitor her progress. She was a family member of Daniel, so their secret was safe.
