The next few days were not as tension-filled as their first meeting inside the office. Alik had commitments in other parts of the UK where KD-main had operations. He stayed very little time or no appearance at all at KD-Manila.
Naturally, it was not a good situation for Elisha. Alik was the reason why she was here in the first place. Nevertheless, she did not make her co-secretaries notice her lack of interest at work. She just continued to do as expected of her.
Elisha was busy with the day’s task on the 5th day of Alik’s show or no show work schedule when a visitor's voice interrupted her focus on the document she was typing.
“ Good morning! It’s Elisha, right?” The attractive face of a Chinese-looking guy appeared in front of her smiling pleasantly.
“Yes, sir!” she said and smiled
