I desperately tried to take my time getting out of the shower. I tried to move as slowly as I could. I even blow-dried my hair. Well, mostly.
Honestly, I couldn't stop shaking the entire time. I was purposely trying to take longer, but my body was pushing me to rush back to my mate. So, I spent a good 10–15 minutes fighting myself in the bathroom before finally stepping out.
I leaned against the bathroom door as I stared at Kasyn. He was sitting on my bed with his elbows on his knees. Kasyn's eyes were cast on the floor. He looked lost in thought. At least, until his eyes finally decided to look up.
Kasyn's eyes slowly roamed up and down my body. There was so much intensity and heat in his cobalt eyes. My breath caught in my throat as I stared back at him, willing my body to calm down.
