My eyes popped open as I sucked air into my lungs. I sat up as I took a few more deep breaths. I felt like I couldn't get enough air.
Geez, what, was I dead this whole time? I usually only gasp like that after I die. Selene said that I had been asleep for days though. Was I really... dead this entire time?
I looked around to see that I was in my bedroom back home. My body feels clean, and I'm wearing nothing but Kasyn's shirt. I could smell Kasyn's scent completely coating my entire room. It instantly angered me.
I pushed the blankets off of me and stood up. I wobbled slightly, but quickly caught my balance. I don't feel as weak as I was feeling before I died. I wonder if Kasyn has been coming by to feed me his blood.
