"I like her a lot," Lydia told me as we watched Axton drag his mate around the yard, showing her everything.
"You say that about them all," I replied before sipping my coffee. "But I like her too. She's... interesting. She kind of reminds me of how Vessa was after we found her."
Lydia nodded in agreement.
Nadja is definitely the most interesting mate that has been brought home so far. I mean, it was pretty hard to beat someone like Epperly in the first place. We had no idea that Epperly was another kind of Tribrid. A Goddess, Djin, and a Werewolf.
Axton's mate seems just as unique. Of course, I doubt there's a soul in existence more powerful than Epperly. Nadja comes pretty close though.
