I stared at my mate sleeping next to me as I twirled a lock of her red hair around my finger. Scarlett looks so peaceful when she's asleep. I thought that before when I watched her sleep for two weeks.
This is different though. I don't know if it's because Scareltt was so tired, or if she just feels safe with me, but... She looks so much more relaxed right now.
I'd like to think that it's because of me. I probably do make Scarlett feel safe, being her mate and all. I know that I wore her out, because she passed out during another round.
I knew that I shouldn't have kept Scarlett here this long. There was no way that I wasn't getting something from her after all that teasing and telling me she wanted me. I knew we had time.
