I don’t know why I feel this way. They were very quiet and there seemed to be no one speaking other than Duchess Camella. Lady Eloisa and Lord Frederick responded but did not comment much on what Duchess Camella was saying. Maxwell’s family seems to prefer quiet surroundings while eating.
"Your decorations are so beautiful; they are definitely very expensive! I like it!" said Duchess Camella as she looked around.
"Thank you, Duchess Camella," was all Lady Eloisa replied and turned to me afterwards, "How about you, Lady Zarina, did you like the Norfolk Mansion?"
I was a little surprised when he asked me so I stuttered a little and couldn't answer right away.
"I do! I like it! Your mansion is so beautiful, Lady Eloisa!" Lady Amanda suddenly said.
