Rye’s pov:
I thought of asking Zarina to eat somewhere or to wander around just to be with her for today so I picked her up in her school but we decided to just have our lunch at my unit.
We arrived at the apartment after almost an hour. I opened the door to let her in first and she went straight to sit down on the sofa. She looks so very tired as she leaned her body on the sofa so I asked if she wanted something to drink. She asked for a glass of water so I did give her and she drank it right away.
"Pretty hot today, isn't it?" she asked after drinking the water I gave her.
I nodded my head as I took off my cap, “Yeah, I noticed too."
