Amber had caught Faye the moment she'd started to fall. "Baby? Baby talk to me!" Ready to charge in the hut she'd left, Amber jumped when someone said, "She's just exhausted." Amber looked up at the older red head woman staring at her, "The mark removal took a lot of energy. She'll be fine when she wakes up."
Not saying a word to the woman Amber assumed was Faye's mother, she instead picked her up. As she was carrying her away from this god awful place, Hermonie called out, "Tell her to start practicing." Turning to look at the woman, Amber was surprised as Hermonie told her, "If she does, she can tie her life to yours. And she can remain immortal as you are."
Nodding slowly, Amber asked, "Do you care about her? Even a little?" Hermonie didn't know, she thought she hadn't. But maybe...
