Arabella paced her room like a caged animal, looking at the guard eyeing her like she was something disgusting made her nervous.  One was always inside the room and another outside. She didn’t know any of their names, but there had been one she’d tried to sweet talk. A cute young boy, she’d mistaken for a fool, had seen through her and looked ready to rip her throat out as he barked, “As if I’d ever slum it with some manipulative, dumb, cunt like you.” And then he bit at her viciously making her stumble back.  He’d gone and luckily had never come back. But it had been the last time Arabella had tried that move.  Because the guards from then on looked like prison guards and after a week, she’d felt like a prisoner.
