Jerry had slept in my room last night. I was pushing him to go back to his room so he could properly sleep. But he was adamant about sleeping beside me on my bed.
“But what about the guards outside?”
“I had them go earlier when I arrived. I told you, they were just there to prevent you from going back to the ballroom. Not only for you to go back to Jayden, but to also keep you safe from dad.” Jerry muttered from down my chest. He had made himself comfortable by stripping off his clothes, leaving only his boxers on. Me, I was still wearing my oversized shirt but took off my leggings.
