It was like a staring contest. The atmosphere in the hallway became so thick and heavy that I would have fainted if I had not remembered to breathe.
My heart was aching to touch hug and kiss him. I would have run to him the moment I saw him, but I stayed where I was. I may have missed him so badly, but anger had also built up inside me for the months that he had set me aside.
