I could feel the confusion coming from Poppy as I led her back through the pack house and out the front of it.
I knew right where to find her as Damien linked Mom and me, letting us know Poppy was out back. I did have to laugh to myself at how she interacted with Damien; their bond as Luna and Gamma was growing. It made me happy to see her becoming close to others who will always be there for her. Damien is a good Gamma. He takes his duty to the max, and I know with what happened with the whole rogue thing, he has been trying to prove himself all over again, but it's not needed. I know he would not just up and abandon his post and his orders so simply. Like now he is trailing behind us, not on top, crowding us, but just close enough that if he is needed, he is right there.
