My whole body ached like I had the flu, but I wasn't sick, which was even worse, but the muscle aches, along with spiking a fever and just overall feeling like someone ran me over, were not any fun. I also sleep a lot. I think I have gotten more sleep in the last few days than I have in my entire life. It has been a few days now since I woke and learned that Rafe had marked me, but I have not left his bed. The full effect of the marking had kicked in, and it was kicking my butt. I think I would rather be truly sick than this.
But Rafe has been right there with me, only leaving when he had something to handle, which he was not telling me. In some way, I was curious, but then I figured if it was something he felt I needed to know about, he would tell me.
