In a matter of minutes, my life had completely gone upside down. I was pacing my room for the thousandth time today. I needed a plan. And I needed a plan fast. Ever since this morning when I saw Darius latch himself onto that girl, it felt like my heart had shattered into pieces. Not only that, but whenever they were intimate, it felt like my insides were burning.
'We can reject him.' Caedance says to me.
'It won't work. Rejection will only work if both parties agree to it. Something that will never happen, now that Darius has already found someone else. He's already moved on. So why would he reject us? We don't even exist.'
