I didn't make it far from the hospital before I started balling my eyes out. I had thought taking his memories away from him was the worst pain I could ever feel, but this was entirely worse. I don't know how long I was there crying before Caedance helped to put me back together. She reminded me of why this had to be done. While it may hurt right now, it would be far more excruciating should something actually happen to him.
I knew she was right, but that didn't make it hurt any less.
