It was all going smoothly . Everything was planned out perfectly . I had some room to gain Natalie's forgiveness after the deceit I was going to to put her through . But now , with her friend here , it made the matter increasingly delicate . Maggie knew a great deal about the truth of all of it and , had I not dragged Natalie away from here last night , there was no doubt that she would have told her everything .
I do admit that I should have been honest with her from the start but she would have made this all much harder .
