Frederick and I were playing the glaring game at the dinner table.
This was supposed to be my time with McKenna and Tatiana, but here he was, sticking his nose where it didn't belong.
Right now, all I wanted to do was to grab him from across the dinner table and punch the living s**t out of him, but I controlled myself. I couldn't let my temper ruin Tatiana's birthday.
"So...Hunter. What have you been up to all these years?" Frederick asked me as if we were old pals catching up.
"Dad owns a research facility, and he is a renowned biochemist!" McKenna chirped before I had the chance to answer.
I relaxed my arms. The pride in her voice put a smile on my face, and I didn't feel as angry anymore. "Yes. What about you, Freddy?"
