I arrived at Tatiana's door, ready to pick her up for our long-awaited date. As soon as she opened the door, a feeling of uneasiness washed over me. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but something was definitely off. She didn't smile at me.
"Why are you doing this to me?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Okay, something was definitely wrong.
"Tatiana. I don't know what you are talking about," I said in a serious tone.
"Did you convince McKenna to delay college and work at your Lab? Why would you do that, Hunter? It is her dream to go to MIT!" Tatiana shrilled.
