Chapter 7 Parting Ways

I woke up with the rays of the sun hitting my face. Hmmm I felt my body was really tired of last night. Speaking of which, I slowly shifted my gaze into my body underneath this thick blanket. Gosh! I am naked. I don't have my clothes with me. But I don't know, I feel very happy about my self. Is this the blooming effect of s*x? 

I extended my hands backward to search for Caiden but I felt no one beside me. I turn aroun to see it myself and he was really gone. I sit back suddenly as though adrenaline rushed thoughout my body. Is it possible that he left me already? 

"Babe?" I asked but no one responded. My heart started to pound."Babeee!" I run towards the door holding the blanket on my chest. I don't care if someone walk in see me at this state. I nearly fall from the stairs as I run towards the living room to see if the love of my life is still there. But he was not.

"Babeeeeee!" My legs are shaking and I don't have the energy to resists from stumbling anymore.

"Babe what's the matter." I suddenly heard the voice of the man I am looking for. He's here. I saw him came out from the comfort room. 

He runs towards me. "Why are you being so hysterical?" He asked as he tries to raise me up. I don't know what to say. He's right I am being hysterical. I can't help to. I didn't answer him and just hugged him very tight.

"Let's stay like this." I said.

"I love you. By the way, good morning my little president." He greeted me as he kissed my hair 

"I love you too." I responded. I felt him loosening up his grip on me and slightly pushes me away. 

"I wanna hug you." I pouted which made him smile. I know you can't resist me. 

"Hmm babe...are you asking me for another round." I heard him say playfully. Huh? Before I could even say anything, he said : "Go get dress or else." Now I realize I am totally naked with only the blankets that wraps my body. Ugh! This is so embarassing. I ran upstair to his room and pick any of his shirt to cover for my body. Why would I forget that?

*Knock

*Knock

"Babe I'll come in." Caiden warned before entering.

"This is your room, why bother knock?" I wanna get even on my embarassment. 

"Because I respect my girl so much. You wouldn't wish me to see you naked again right?...or you do?" He teased before entering. Hmm I think I wouldn't mind. Ha-ha. But I think I would mind because it's a broad day light. 

"Let me carry my Mrs. Fernell to eat breakfast." He last said and scoops me again off the ground and marched towards the kitchen.  i can smell the delicious aroma of hotdogs and bacon.

He landed my butt on  a stool and served me my favorite breakfast. I feel like a princess now. "Say ah!" He said before placing the hotdog before my mouth. It is very tasty. 

"B-babe did you cook all of this?" I asked.

"Of course babe, exclusively for you." Once that my plates are settled, he also served himself.

As when I was bitting my hotdog, I saw him stop for a while. Ha-ha. I feel like playing "Babe, what's wrong?" I teased and gentle lick the hotdog on my hand. He ignored it. Ugh! It frustrated me that it's not working as I thought.

I stand up and march towards his seat and landed my butt in his lap. Crap! I think I fall on something when I am only on my panties. But it will be another embarassing moment if I back off now that I started my game. 

I adjusted my body as to face him sideward. I placed the hotdogs on his face and teased. "Say ah babe." I paired it with a gentle stroke on his buddy below. He closed his eyes to hold back. Ha-ha. I won. 

I gloriously return to my seat and face him. "I love you." I wanna make up for his struggle as a man...urges...

*Phone rings

As we finshed eating, Caiden's phone rang. I think it was his dad as I read on the screen.

"Hello dad..."

"Ah...yes dad..."

"What time again..."

"Take care..." He hangs up.

"What did he say?" I asked. His face turns serious. "He reminded of me of our departure by 12." I check the time. It's 10 in the morning. He still barely has two hours more left.

"I'll do the dishes. Go start packing." I said.

"Yes my lovely wife." He replied before proceeding upstair. My wife...he started calling me that. I really feel a newly wed bride. We had done our honeymoon and he cooked me my breakfast. Geez! I am spacing out again. I'll focus on the dishes instead.

As soon as I finish my task, I went up to help him. By 11:30 his father together with my parents arrived here. Mom said she wanted to give her belessing to Caiden in wherever he go. She is so sweet. She even  brought something for lunch.

Then, the moment I fear to come arrived. After we ate lunch, Uncle Francis started bidding his temporary farewell as he will be returning immediately as soon as Caiden starts the probationary.

I hugged Caiden so tight and kiss him on the lips despite our parents presence. I will really miss him. He handed me another notebook, smaller than the previous one. 

"Open that when you got home. I love you. Always take care" He said before entering the car. I love you too!

My eyes followed the car as it disappeared at the distance. My mom patted my shoulder as she saw me still looking at where my lover just go.

I hold unto the notebook he left me. I know someday we will see each other soon…probably not tomorrow but I know sooner.

What I have do now is to wait for him as I also work my best in college. It will be a long journey for us but I believe if we really love each other, no distant nor years can ever split it apart.

I will always live out the vow we personally committed ourselves to. And I bet he will to as he is so serious about it that …
