Walking out of Aries’ office, a strange sense of relief settled over me. It came from nowhere, unexpected yet welcome.
I let my feet carry me toward my room, my mind drifting until—

I barely had time to brace myself before she was in front of me, eyes burning with curiosity.
"What did you talk about with my brother?"
I sighed, trying to lighten the mood. "Calm down, tiger."
"She's a wolf princess," came another voice from behind me.
I turned, already exasperated. "Now what?"
Standing there with a smirk was Julian.
"Wow, the crew is almost complete," I muttered sarcastically.
"You’ve been hard to find," Julian said as I entered my room. Naturally, they both followed without invitation.
I flopped onto my bed. So much for courtesy. But who was I kidding?
