Sophia I was still at my desk at nine o'clock, which wasn't unusual these days, except that everyone else in the office had gone home hours ago and I was working by the light of a single desk lamp, surrounded by half-finished renderings of the courtyard entrance that refused to look right no matter how many times I redrew the sight lines.
