While smoking on my room's balcony, I observed what happened at the mansion's entrance. It was shocking to see the two dragons I despised the most return, but I quickly got over it. I guess they survived the ordeal I put them through, and somehow Darlene found them and brought them back. I could barely hold myself back, but I controlled myself. The men attacked them, but to my dismay, Stephen kept control of them. I did not react because any reaction would only expose me. And yet, it was over for me, especially if they could persuade Jack. I hurried inside, put on my shirt, and marched out of my room, determined to leave before things got worse. I knew a couple of people who might shelter me from Jack’s wrath.
