Darlene’s pov He was hurting my arm, but I was too scared to move. His demeanour petrified me, preventing me from uttering a word. I stared at the caveman with widened eyes, whose angry eyes drilled holes into me. It was as though he were peering right into my soul. I suddenly felt numb and, for a moment, forgot why I ended up in that secluded cave. I could have stayed indoors and been safe, but here I was - away from the town in the grasp of a troglodyte.
