The sun rose, giving them the first light of day, They dragged the boat further up and tied it to a tree. The island was slightly breezy but not enough to give them the chills yet. The branches shook and the birds chirped, ready to get on with the new day. The air was fresher than usual, and Alexa enjoyed that. She stood at the shore watching the sunrise and letting the water bury her feet in the sand. Damon stood behind. He put his arms around and rested his chin on her shoulder, gently swaying side to side.  "What are you doing?" she asked giggling away.  "Watching the sunrise with you".  "It's amazing, isn't it? I've never seen it up close like this before". Her stomach growled. He sighed out loud. "You're hungry?" "Just a little, but I can wait". She said.  " You sure?"  " Yeah
