I am going to write this more as a letter to you, the readers, than as a true chapter. I know I don't have to write this chapter, but I feel like I owe you all this small life update. On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, I went in to see my OB/GYN for my 12 week gestaition appointment. We started trying to find baby's heart beat in office and we were struggling. We just assumed that this was related to scar tissue and a possible antieror plecenta since I had a C-Section with my daughter and she also had an antieror plecenta. I was sent over to have a STAT transvaginal ultrasound and in the process we learned that I had, what is called, a missed miscarriage.
Baby was only measuring 8 weeks gestation and no heartbeat was found. We assume that baby's heart stopped somewhere around w
