Leah sniffles and nods her head slowly as she hugs the both of us super tight one more time and walks away. I turn towards Andrew and sigh. “So, what is all of this about?” Andrew sighs and shakes his head slowly. I watch as he sighs and stares at the ground in disbelief at what has happened.
When he finally decides to respond, he seems a bit more bitter than I expected him to be. “Rebecca’s father is Fernando Cote. He is one of the ‘elders’ in our pack but more importantly, he is the next person who can take the alpha title if I don’t produce an heir. With us having the Leclerc children, it kind of saves us a bit but not by much. If we want to avoid any more of this conflict, we are going to have to figure out a solution.”
