Carrie pov I woke up with a start, my heart racing and my sheets soaked with sweat. The dream had been vivid, and I could still feel the panic and fear coursing through my veins. My brother, Luke, was in danger, and I could feel it like a weight in my chest. I sat up, rubbing my eyes and trying to shake off the lingering feelings of dread. But as I looked around my darkened room, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. I glanced at the clock on my bedside table - it was 2:45 AM. I knew that he was still in the city, on a mission to deal with the rogue wolves who had been causing trouble in the packs. Our parents had sent him there to help resolve the situation, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. I knew that I should have been allowed to go with him.
