Kane’s POV The driver gets us back to Brandy’s in fourteen minutes, I know because I f.ucking timed him. He screeched into the space outside of her door, and turns toward me as I remove my arm from behind Brandy’s shoulders and pull out my wallet, handing him a one hundred dollar bill. ‘Keep the change’ I tell him, smirking as his eyes widen in shock. Tugging open the door, I climb out before turning and holding out my hand to Brandy who slips across the seats, and tentatively takes it. Pulling her from the back seat, I slam the door closed before heading up her driveway without a backward glance at the car or it’s driver. Once at her front door, Brandy opens her purse, fumbling awkwardly inside for her keys as I wait impatiently, my arms crossed over my chest. It feels like an eternit
