Kane’s POV As we walk into the bar, we’re greeted by cheers, both from our teammates and the locals who haunt this place on game nights. As we reach our usual seats, we find that half the team is already here, spread out across two of the booths, laughing and drinking, some actually look half cut already. Even though we left early it has still taken an age to get here, not because of traffic, but because Marcus now drives like an old f.ucking woman and it has taken twice as long as it should have to get across town.
