Marcus’ POV
After we laid everything out on the line to each other over that weekend, I decided that I need to talk to the team management. I don’t think we’re breaking any rules, but I don’t want anything to come back and cause issues with Rory’s Job. It sucks but I know that if it came down to keeping me or Rory, it would be my woman who would find herself out of a job if we’re not upfront. Also, I want every f.ucker to know that she’s mine! So having a conversation with the top brass only benefits me.
Monday morning, and I’ve left Rory asleep in my bed, the hardest thing I’ve had to do in a long time. All I wanted to do was roll her over and r****h her body as I have done for most of the weekend, but I also know that this is really important so I reluctantly let her sleep.
