"How is she?" Nate bawled, startling everyone waiting outside Evelyn's ward.
"Why are you here, Nate?" Evan shrugged. Out of all people, he was not expecting Nate. He has not seen him for several years now. His daughter has moved on. Evelyn and Liam had a promising future, and Nate was awful news.
"What happened to Evelyn? How is she?" Nate demanded.
Evan hesitated but replied, " Evelyn is out of danger. Right now, Ashlyn and Liam are attending her. She is out of comatose but still needs time to recover."
