Modise “Thank you,” Modise said as he signed for his cell phone. He’d taken a three-hour meditation class on a whim and had to leave his phone at the reception at the door. The class had been amazing. Modise felt relaxed and calm. And he was glad he’d given in and tried the class. In the past when he came to the resort he didn’t join the mediation classes because he was afraid to sit still and linger around in his mind. There were things in his mind he’d forced himself to ignore, and shove to the back of his mind in a dark room. And he didn’t want to open that door.
