Chapter 40.
The dinner I planned with my mates was canceled because they never accepted my request. I showed up at the mansion, thinking I would meet them there but even after waiting for an hour, they didn't show up. At last, I decided, if they won't come to me, I will go to them.
*knock*
I knocked on their office door. They took their sweet time inviting me in, and the moment I had permission, I slammed the door open, fuming because it felt humiliating to wait for them for an hour and shut it behind me. It's another thing their scent worked wonders in calming my rage. So, by the time I opened my mouth, I was as calm as water.
"Can we talk?" I asked politely, leaning against the door.
"Why the change in temperament? Go on and say what you were going to say when you barged in here,"
